About the Friends

​In 1958, the Friends of the Danville Library (FODL) was established as a nonprofit organization with the goal of supporting the Danville Library.

 

With an all-volunteer staff, the Friends have generously contributed to the Library through its membership dues, sales in the Friends Bookstore, and special book sale events all year round.

 

All proceeds benefit the Danville Library’s adult and children’s programs, numerous Library events, as well as the purchase of new books and materials benefiting all our patrons. We are grateful for the support from our loyal community of book lovers!
